Microsoft Surface: Coffee Table Computing

In case you missed yesterday’s big launch, Microsoft released Microsoft Surface, a dynamic, multi-touch, “natural” interface initially aimed for use at hotels, kiosks, and casinos. I didn’t think anyone was close to releasing something like this onto the market, and it was quite a surprise to see Microsoft leading the way with this new combination of hardware/software.

Microsoft launched a site showing the capabilities, history, and design of Surface, and don’t miss the video coverage and tech demo from Popular Mechanics.
