Social Explorer is dedicated to providing easy access to demographic information about the United States. We have hundreds of interactive data maps of the United States, including historical data back to 1940.
The interactive map is pretty basic:

- Choose variable #1
- Choose sub-variable
Get started here. It’s fascinating to pick a geographic region and watch demographic trends appear as you move between different census data sets.
