import attempt two - success!
After finally finding help on the wordpress support forums, I was able to figure out how to import the old blogs (1, 2 & 3) with their associated comments and categories. Once I realized that a direct RSS import wouldn’t work, the rest of the process went pretty smoothly. Now I’ve only got to deal with the huge number of categories that I’m stuck with.
