The 24 hour trip home

Here is a quick recap of All in British Standard Time.

5:00 AM - Wake after 3 hours of sleep.
5:30 AM - Leave Oxford on the coach.

7:30 AM - Arrive at London Gatwick airport to the sight of guards with enormous heavy weaponry. Begin multiple check-in and security checks.
12:20 PM - Board British Airways flight.

12:30 PM - Informed by pilot that we were required to wait for the US government to analyze and OK all passenger information. We’re warned of 2-2.5 hour delays.

4:30 PM - 3 hours and 45 minutes later we receive the go-ahead to leave. 15 minute later, we finally leave the English tarmac.

4:45 PM-12:30 AM - Pass in and out of consciousness. Watch completley absurd MI:3 and V for Vendetta. Read all of one book and got 200 pages into another. Cope with spoiled devil child sitting in the row in front of me.

12:30 AM - Land on US soil. Proceed to trudge through immigration , customs, security checks, and multiple baggage pickups.

3:00AM - Delirious from sleep deprivation and sweating in the Georgia heat, I board a shuttle back to Athens.
4:30 AM - Arrive in Athens sometime around 11:30 EST.
